Pokemon Insurgence Fan Game in 2024

Pokemon Insurgence is a fan made game that was created using the Pokemon Essentials engine. It has mega evolution, a brand new region, and an online trading system to swap Pokemon.

Technically, Pokemon Insurgence isn’t a Pokemon ROM hack, and even though it is a fan game, it is one that was crafted with tons of love for the series. It has tons of awesome features that didn’t exist in the Gen III games and their subsequent ROM hacks.

The development team working on the game have put in a lot of hard work and it shows. They apparently are also continuing to work on the game and update it moving forward. There’s also a community run wiki as well with lots of useful information.

Whether you’re looking for a casual experience or something more competitive, this game has it all. It’s known as one of the best Pokemon fan games for a reason.

About Pokemon Insurgence

In the game, you explore the region of Torren and find out that a new variant of Pokemon has been discovered. New megastones lead to brand new mega evolutions. You can also trade online with friends and randoms to build out your team and visit your friend’s bases to collect their flags.

Mega Evolution

To Mega Evolve Pokemon in Pokemon Insurgence, they’ll need to be holding the correct Mega Stone. One single Pokemon can Mega Evolve per battle. Mega Evolved Pokemon can have different base stats and a different ability and type from its original form.

Delta Pokemon

In Pokemon Insurgence, there is a brand new kind of Pokemon called “Delta Pokemon”.

Delta Pokemon are rare and usually can only be found during in-game events. Delta Pokemon’s type and appearance are different than normal Pokemon. Professor Pine mentions that Delta Pokemon originated from the Holon region, though it’s unclear how they came to be in the first place.

The Perfection Cult studies Delta Pokemon as a part of their ultimate goal to obtain the Perfect Pokemon. Because they believe that Delta Pokemon are the stronger versions, their experiments are responsible for some of the Delta Pokemon that can be found around the Torren region.

Delta Pokemon have the same base stats as regular Pokemon, but they have different types, abilities, and learnsets. Evolution methods and wild held items may vary from their traditional counterparts.

There are a total of 197 known different Delta Pokemon in Pokemon Insurgence.
