Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ROM Hacks – Pokemon SV Plus

Pokemon SV+ is a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ROM hack that adds quality-of-life changes to the original version of the game, adds changes to trainers, has additional post-game content, and lots more that we’ll go into below. This mod allows you to catch every Pokemon in the Paldean region’s Pokedex and all of the other variations.

The Indigo DLC allows you to continue to fly without dropping over time.

Pokemon SV Plus is the best Pokemon ROM Hack for Scarlet and Violet that is meant to give players a more challenging experience that the game version of the game doesn’t offer. All previously unobtainable Pokemon have been re-added, some slight improvements have been made to the map, and much more. There are also SV+ patches that transform the game in various different ways.

While playing this ROM hack, you should only ever connect to others playing Pokemon SV+, otherwise, previously unobtainable items or Pokemon from SV+ may result in you being banned. Remember to save the game often and keep backups of your save files.

This ROM hack does not include a copy of the original game. To play this hack, you’ll need to also own a copy of the actual game.

Feature Breakdown

Post Game Content

All of the 5-star raids are now replayed with over 50 different currently unobtainable Legendary and Mythical Pokémon as well as opposite versions of Paradox Pokémon. This is meant to recreate the feel of Hoopa portals from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and add replayability after being the main game.

• Legendaries will battle you at level 85, but are level 70 when they are caught. These Pokemon are very tough!
• All legendaries are holding special items. 5-star raid Pokemon are holding tera shards or herba mystica.
• You can only capture the 5-star raid Pokemon twice.

Revamped Trainers

Trainer Pokemon and event Pokemon’s levels have been increased by 40%. This is intended to make the game more challenging while still somewhat maintaining the original difficulty curve and progression. Raids 1-4 have also have had their levels increased as well.

Evolution Changes

Alternate methods for trade evolutions have been added: Hisuian Pokémon and Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon.

Improved Wild Pokemon

All wild Pokémon that normally spawn exclusively in one version have been re-added. 50+ HOME transferrable Pokémon have also been added to the wild, including their regional forms, and other starter Pokemon.

Because this part of the mod adds many illegal Pokemon that should not be used online to the game, you also have the ability to remove this part and only allow Paldean native Pokemon to spawn. To do so, you’ll need to download  alternate_pokedata_array.zip and paste its contents into the world  folder of SV+.

Map Marker Changes

Map markers, borders, and level ranges have been added to the game’s map. Level Ranges have also been added for each area and names will remain visible while zoomed in on the map.

Markers that have been added to the map:

• Watchtowers
• Pokemon League Reps
• Ominous Stakes

Battle Changes

Battles are now sped up due to removing and reducing unnecessary action delays that cause a slowdown. This is a welcome change as all of those seconds really do add up!

Raids

The difficulty has been increased of 1-4 star raid battles, with mid to late game raids smoothed out and higher star raid frequency increased. Raid assist trainers have been updated to match the increased frequency as well.

Picnics

You’ll be happy to hear that eggs will now spawn much quicker while picnicking.

Improved Player Movement

Player movements have been increased by 25% meaning that slipping when trying to climb up slopes is a thing of the past.

Improved Ride Pokemon

You can now glide forever while riding on Miraidon and Koraidon. The gliding drop rate has been reduced to zero. Along with that, gliding speed and sprint speed have both been increased as well.

While you can now move faster, movements will still be precise and feel natural.

Shiny Pokemon

Shiny locks are removed from starter Pokemon, legendaries, gift Pokemon, battled Pokemon, and even event Pokemon.

Additional Features

Along with everything mentioned above, a custom title card has been added, custom intro music, and even a custom song that plays during the credits.
