Generations has a ton more content compared to Worlds. Also I think if u love the gameplay in generations then you probably won’t like Worlds as much.

I have both, I do love generations so far, but I liked world's from what I played just didn't know much about either game when I played it. Most of what I've learned I didn't learn till I played generations on switch alone and with others

Interesting to hear your perspective as a newcomer to the series in general. Happy to hear you’re enjoying both 👍🏽 Tri on Wii was my first game (only skipped on 3 Ultimate on Wii U after that) and even with the tutorial videos, I still felt I learned the most from watching how my teammates played and from what worked well for me and my personal play style. Now that they added striker, adept, aerial, valor, and alchemy style (guild style is just classic MonHun gameplay) you can tweak things even further in this particular version to benefit your personal way of playing.

I attempted kinsect in world's and that's what I'm trying again for most part and I went with alchemy this far, which seems like an odd combo. But they seem fun and to fit one another for me, just haven't totally grasped both yet. I normally like ranged in any game, but I tried bow in the game for hours and I can't seem to do much of anything with it.

I personally really like alchemy also. I usually do 3 shakes for booster, then in any order I do 1 shake for whetstone and 4 shakes for slick to multiply whetstone. I do 2 shake for immunizer if I need healing and can use slick on immunizer if need be also. Also the SP levels as they get higher still retain all the previous SP level buffs

And the magic numbers for SP levels are 2, 5, and 12 total shakes. It can be kind of fun to figure out your own way to getting to those SP levels. My favorite is probably 3-1-1-4 and then whatever else I need for the last 3

As a bow/HH main in 4 Ultimate, I’ll say that bow requires a lot of knowledge of the game in terms of spacing. Probably not the best weapon for newcomers to the mainline series (Worlds would not be considered mainline)

Thanks for the information, yeah I personally think alchemy and kinsect compliment one another, although I'm still a novice. Sometimes the buttons still confuse me initially but I get grounded after a short bit. I'm still getting the right shakes down and the controls for extracts to boost kinsect stuff. But I feel like the buffs you get for your guave plus the assistive and buffing type elements you get with alchemy barrel make it a fantastic combo. I finally have mounting down fairly well and evading with the polevault type action and that's always something I've enjoyed attack wise. I know a lot of players do aerial and kinsect for added jumping power, but with the gauve it seems like enough so I matched it with alchemy for the moment. Still since the series has so many different combos and ways of playing, it's always a joy to switch things up on different hunts. That's why I have several sets I alternate, well except for anything ranged - which I guess I can't understand how I'm ever going to be good with that in Generations anyways. I can do ok with ranged in World.
