HomeNintendo SwitchZelda: Skyward Sword for Switch Listed on Amazon UK Nintendo News Zelda: Skyward Sword for Switch Listed on Amazon UK We were just notified this morning that Amazon UK has listed Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Switch. The game is currently available for pre-order with a price tag of £69.99. This listing (as you can see below) is through Nintendo’s official Amazon account: There is no release date or further details listed on the game’s Amazon page. Last year, we did hear Eiji Aonuma (the producer for Zelda) talk about potentially remaking Zelda: Skyward Sword without motion controls, but he even went as far as to say that it would almost be impossible to do so. Now we’re wondering more than ever if the Zelda team were up to that challenge. Aonuma then went on to further say : “Currently I don’t have plans, but [if] there is a title that we can incorporate new elements or new features that is perhaps a perfect fit for a remake, then maybe we’ll consider it”. What new elements or features would be potentially be incorporated into a Switch version of Skyward Sword? It could be argued that removing motion controls from the game would be a new element to the gameplay, but that brings us back to square one with Aonuma saying that it “might be impossible”. Aonuma’s exact words when asked about potentially removing motion controls were: “So you’re saying control it all with buttons? That’s a little hard! I think it might be close to impossible!” So it’s not clear at this point if we’re even getting Skyward Sword for the Switch. For all we know, this listing could have been created on accident. With the listing coming from Nintendo’s account, that makes this seem a bit more believable, but still this is not concrete evidence. Until we receive an official announcement from Nintendo, it’s best to not get too excited just yet.
