Nintendo Switch System Update 13.0.0 Live

The latest Nintendo Switch update 13.0.0 is now available for the console and allows players to pair Bluetooth audio devices. This includes support for bluetooth headphones, earbuds, speakers, etc but for players hoping for bluetooth microphone support, they’re still out of luck for now.

• Do keep in mind that up to two wireless controllers can connect to the Nintendo Switch while using Bluetooth audio. Additional wireless controllers will not be pairable until the Bluetooth audio device has been disconnected form the Switch.
• Bluetooth audio will be disconnected during local communication, such as when starting a local wireless multiplayer game.

• Players may only pair one Bluetooth audio device at a time, but may save up to 10 devices on a single Nintendo Switch console.
• Bluetooth microphones still can’t be used unfortunately at this time.
• Depending on the bluetooth device that you use, you may experience some audio lag.

• An update dock option was added under “system” in “system settings” for the Nintendo Switch and OLED models which allows users to install software updates to their dock with a LAN port.
• An option to maintain the internet connect while the Switch is in sleep mode was also added under “sleep mode” in “System Settings”.
• The option to calibrate control sticks in “System Settings” has been changed.
• You may now check to see if your wireless internet connection is using either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz under “connection status” after going to “internet” in “System Settings”.
