Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Switch Version Listed Online for Pre-Order

So it appears that Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has officially been listed for pre-order on Mighty Ape. Earlier in 2020, EA stated their commitment to bringing titles to the Nintendo Switch. They went as far as to say that they will be bringing seven different Switch titles within a year’s time. Apex legends was confirmed as one of these titles, along with FIFA. Now it looks like the 2010 hit title Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will be joining the Burnout Paradise as another EA game on the Switch’s available library.

Mighty Ape seems to have jumped the gun with their listing of the game; the website sells products availabel to Australia and New Zealand. The game is currently listed at $79.00. The SKU available on the site is labeled “Need for Speed Hot Pursuit”. The website has no official release date or further details mentioned.

Criterion is currently working on a new game in the Need for Speed series as well.

There have been reports from others in the industry, further validating the rumor that Hot pursuit will be arriving to the Switch within a year’s time. Now with this game officially being listed and available for pre-order, perhaps some official news will be surfacing here in the near future.
