Pokemon Sword and Shield – Get A Competition Ready Gastrodon Code For A Limited Time

If you have either Pokemon Sword or Shield, then you’re in luck! The Nintendo Switch games both are eligible for receiving a competition ready Gastrodon for free. The process to claim it is simple.

This competition ready Gastrodon comes with Surf, Ice Beam, Protect, and Earth Power as its move-set. Gastrodon out of the gate is level 50 with maximum HP, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense with a 0 IV in Speed.

This is how you can get the special Gastrodon:

1	Start up your Pokemon Sword or Shield game.
2	Press the “X” button and then select “Mystery Gift”.
3	From the menu that appears, choose the “Get a Mystery Gift” option.
4	Next, choose “Get with Code/Password” and connect to the internet.
5	Now enter the special code “PJCS2019CHAMP”.
6	Gastrodon will not be available in your Pokemon game.
7	Don’t forget to save!

Gastrodon is a sea slug Pokemon and it has two different appearances. There is both the est Sea type which is pink and brown colored and the East Sea type which is blue and green. Gastrodon looks similar to its form in before evolving, but it gains four additional legs and is somewhat larger. It is related to Sheller and Cloyster. It is said that Gastrodon live in shall tide pools near the ocean.

This is only available for redeeming for a limited time, so make sure and act fast! It’s great to see both Sword and Shield continuing to get new content like this for fans of the series. Between the extra DLC that has been put out and these limited Pokemon drops, players at least have had opportunities to remain engaged with the Nintendo Switch Pokemon games.
