The game has officially been trashed entirely and now no longer is playable. If you boot up the app for iOS or android, you will be met with a maintenance screen. Pokémon Rumble Rush was a game originally created for smartphones. It needed a constant internet connection to work, which with the lackluster response from the Pokemon community, probably is a big part why it’s no longer a thing. Since it’s an always online mobile game, users won’t even be able to play it anymore now that the servers have been effectively terminated. You can’t download, update, or do anything in it. Furthermore, any Poke Diamonds that you previously purchase can supposedly be refunded now that the game has closed. I feel for the players of the game who actually still were having fun with it. Surely there must have been a subset of players who continued to play – unfortunately it just doesn’t seem to have been a high enough number to warrant keeping the game alive and running. It must be frustrating to have the game removed entirely after such a short amount of time.
