Pikmin 3 Deluxe Pre-Order Now Available

Good news for anyone looking to pre-order Pikmin 3 Deluxe – you can now do so!

Pre-orders for the new Pikmin game coming to the Nintendo Switch have now opened up at many large stores. It is available for pre-order at Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy.

On Amazon, the game has this description available:

• Grow a squad of Adorable, plantlike Pikmin to traverse a strange world and save your planet
• Pikmin at your pace
• Play side-story missions, head-to-head matches, and more!

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is going to be priced at $59.99 and will have all of the DLC that the original on the Wii U had available. Some fans of the series are disappointed that Nintendo is charging full price for yet another port of a Wii U game, but this isn’t anything new for the company.

We have seem Nintendo do similarly with multiple other games being brought to the Switch. It’s important to note that these versions are improved in various ways and often have all of the optional DLC from the Wii U versions as part of the base versions on the Switch.

Nintendo just recently posted the announcement trailer for Pikmin 3 Deluxe to their Youtube channel. Shortly after the game was announced, players found physical copies of the game at retail locations and verified that certain features in Pikmin 3 Deluxe would require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is set to officially launch onto the Switch October 30, 2020 (just in time for Halloween).
