The game was in the middle of the direct between the announcements of Cadence of Hyrule DLC packs and news about the Shin Megami Tensei series. The Nintendo Direct Mini today was focused on games from Nintendo’s development and publishing partners. The games in the direct were all ones that have been previously announced; it was mostly just a small ten minute update in the form of a direct presentation. The game features AI opponents, both cross-play and cross-progression at launch, as well as gyro motion controlled aiming. It will be interesting to see what additional information comes out later today on Hi-Rez’s newest online shooter, Rogue Company. So far from what we’ve seen, the game actually looks like it will be pretty fun! So far the response from Nintendo fans hasn’t been overwhelmingly positive on the Nintendo Direct Mini that we received today. It’s unfortunate, as games like Rogue Company and Shin Megami Tensei news might be overlooked by many just for being associated. With so much anticipation and lead up to today, many Nintendo fans had higher hopes that for what was revealed. Nintendo has stated that this is the first in a series of directs that they plan to do, with talk in the community that additional info that originally was planned to be announced today will be spread out in further mini directs.
