HomeNintendo SwitchNo, Killer7 Is Not Coming To The Nintendo Switch Nintendo News No, Killer7 Is Not Coming To The Nintendo Switch Yesterday, NintendoLife reported that the classic Grasshopper Manufacturer title, “Killer7” could be coming to the Nintendo Switch. We held off from jumping onto the hype wagon as we had our reservations regarding this rumor. In their initial post, NintendoLife stated the following: “YouTuber Doctre81 – perhaps best known for uncovering evidence of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, well before it was even announced for Nintendo’s hybrid platform – has found a LinkedIn page of an Engine Software employee making reference to a “Killer7 Remaster” for the Switch.” They then went on to show a screenshot of the LinkedIn profile, with a line in it highlighted: “Currently Producer on an unannounced title in collaboration with a prolific Japanese game designer”. They then made what they believed to be the connection between a “prolific Japanese game designer” and Suda51. It turns out that today, the owner and VP of development for Engine Software, Ruud van de Moosdijk, has clarified that Killer7 is not currently in the works for the Nintendo Switch. The project that is being worked on is in fact not Killer7 and the banner than NintendoLife reported this from should have been changed. Moosdijk released the following statement about the Killer7 for Switch rumor: “Without saying anything about unannounced projects, the unannounced project I am working on with a prolific Japanese developer, is not Killer7 for Switch sorry. The banner on Linkedin should have been changed, as in the end we only did a PC version of Killer7.” And there you have it folks, Killer7 has not been ported over to the Switch (yet). Unfortunately it appears that this rumor was indeed all fluff. Here’s to hoping that they will consider porting Killer7 onto the Switch after seeing the reaction from fans of the game.
