HomeNewsNintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase – July 20, 2020 News Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase – July 20, 2020 The entire Nintendo community has been talking about a rumored Nintendo Direct scheduled for July 20, 2020 for quite some time. We officially have word from Nintendo that there will in fact be a direct on July 20th. The direct itself is going to be a Direct Mini Partner Showcase. As far as we know, this will be the first Partner Showcase Direct that we will be getting from Nintendo. It will be very interesting to see what partners Nintendo will have on display and what games they will be showing off as well! The Direct Mini: Partner Showcase time will be 7 AM PST / 10 AM EST (3PM UK, 4PM EU, 11PM Japan). The only official word we have on this direct so far is that this new partner focused setup will be going over games from Nintendo’s development and publishing partners. It will share some updates from them on games that have been previously announced for the Nintendo Switch. Word on the web is that the direct will run for about 10 minutes total. While this doesn’t appear to be the level of direct that many were hoping for; it still is exciting to be getting some new info from Nintendo about future games coming to the system. Here is the official tweet from Nintendo on the direct: On 7/20 we'll debut the first #NintendoDirect Mini: Partner Showcase, a series focused on titles from our development & publishing partners. We'll share a few updates on a small group of previously-announced #NintendoSwitch games. However, at the very least, Nintendo is still trying their best to put out content for fans. What do you think about all of this? Are you excited to get a new Nintendo Direct in July? What games do you think we’ll get more info on? Let us know in the comments below. Jonathan Zarra Lover of video games, coffee, and cats.
