Because of this scheduled upcoming release, Crytek has released a tech trailer showing the game running on the Switch. The gameplay shown in the tech demo was captured while running the game on the Switch at 720P 30FPS. The video goes over some of the tech features in the remastered version: Vegetation bending (from shooting trees and other plants around the combat zone.Destructible environment (crates, shelves of items, trees collapsing and falling to the group, and other things in the environment react to players shooting them).Dynamic lighting (as the lights that are hanging move and sway about the environment, the light that they cast shifts and transitions, causing certain elements and locations to appear darker or lighter depending on their location).Voxel Based Global Illumination (also known as SVOGI).Light rays and sunbeams (as your characters looks at the sky, you can see the sun casting through the separations in tree branches and leaves – looks very nice).Enhanced lighting.Depth of field and motion blur.Gyro aiming (using the switch’s motion controls, players can move the system around to move their character’s field of view).Maximum explosions (it wouldn’t be crysis without this one eh).
