The wacky and goofy game-play mixed with its undeniable charm turned this Goose extravaganza into a must buy. You’re quite the troublemaker in this game, wreaking havoc everywhere you go – but it is lighthearted and fun. It’s a simple game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. You can easily pick up a controller and have a few laughs. Now it seems that Untitled Goose Game is about to become even more fun. Today, during Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase Direct event, it was announced that Untitled Goose Game will be receiving a free two player mode for even wackier antics. Untitled Goose Game 2 Player Update The two player mode is set to release on September 23, 2020. You and a pal will be able to terrorize the city together. Everything that you loved previously about Untitled Goose Game will be available in two player mode. Oh dear! From what we know so far, the two player mode in Untitled Goose Game appears to be strictly local couch co-op play. As of now, online play will not be available in the game. This is a real shame as for many adult players, we rely on online play in order to connect with friends who are no longer close by. This is even more prevalent with the current health crisis affecting the entire world. We would recommend reaching out to House House directly on Twitter, letting them know that you would like an online multiplayer mode to be added to the game. You may do so by tweeting at them here. Untitled Goose Game Physical Edition The developers of the game, House House, have given more details on a physical release. At the time of writing, you may currently pre-order a physical version of the game for both the Nintendo Switch and PS4. It’s being sold on iam8bit.com’s website which you can snag by heading to this link. The physical edition of the game comes with a reversible cover-sheet, a 24 page mail order style circular spring/summer plaza catalog, an 11 x 17 inch foldout of the town map (hand drawn by Marigold Bartlett), and a “no goose” sticker. This physical release is region free and will work worldwide. Jonathan Zarra Lover of video games, coffee, and cats. When I'm not working on a new project, you can find me playing the Switch.
