The following is a compiled list of all the top upcoming Nintendo Switch games that will be releasing in the month of December for 202`1: 12/3/2021 – Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain (Metacritic Score: 72) – The Big Brain Academy series for years has remained under the veil of Brain Age, but this title’s debut onto the Switch is doing quite well. Compete against others to see who has the brawniest brain of all. Go brain to brain in up to 4 player matches to see who can get the highest score.While earlier games in Nintendo’s Big Brain Academy series tended to remain under the shadow of the beloved Brain Age series, the Nintendo Switch entry in the series looks to make a splash by embracing competitive elements, with players testing their thinking and observation skills against friends and family. Perhaps the Nintendo Switch will give this series a chance to shine in its own right. 12/3/2021 – Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition , Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition, Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp (Metacritic Score: 56), and Danganronpa Decadence (Metacritic Score: 86) – A cult classic of a series that has packed a whole lot of titles into one game! In case you’ve been living under a rock, the game has you playing as a girl who can experience what other people feel and are going around investigating you brother’s murder. From what we have gathered, the Nintendo Switch port seems to be solid, so you’re in good hands with this edition for the Switch. 12/7/2021 – Love 3 The visuals on The Love series are so amazingly awesome. If you take a look at the Steam reviews for the games, they consistently are scored well by players, always receiving “very positive” review scores. If you’re a fan on fun, simple, pixel art style games, the fun and cute level design of this platformer is right up your alley. 12/9/2021 – Loop Hero Loop Hero made its original debut on PC earlier in 2021 and has been praised since. The PC version of the game received a Metacritic score of 82 and is up for some 2021 game awards. Loop Hero features gameplay with deckbuilding mechanics and an endless dungeons to battle your way through. 12/9/2021 – Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX The Monster Rancher series is very unique in that it originally let you scan CDs to automatically create monsters – it should be noted that the Nintendo Switch version of the games let players look through databases of music and select ones that are saved in the game’s memory. These games are still awesome and the remasters are done well indeed. The retro visuals are charming and the Pokemon style formula still holds up here. 12/9/2021 – Wytchwood Wytchwood is a crafting adventure game for the Switch set in an expressive land of gothic fables and fairytales. As an old witch of the woods, you will explore a strange countryside, collect magical ingredients, brew enchantments, and pass your twisted judgement upon a unique group of characters and creatures. Unique game, awesome visuals, and compelling gameplay here. 12/13/2021 – Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon Shovel Knight is back baby! In Pocket Dungeon, join your mysterious guide Puzzle Knight as you shovel through tons of enemies, gather new supplies, and fight bosses both new and old. Play solo or even challenge your friends. 12/14/2021 – Clockwork Aquario Clockwork Aquario for the Nintendo Switch is a game made by the Westone team that is finally being brought to light after 30 whole years. Strictly limited games is behind the project. The unfinished ROM was initially found and then later completed with the help of the game’s original developers. Pretty darn cool story here and well worth checking out! 12/15/2021 – The Letter: A Horror Visual Novel The Letter has received solid reviews on Steam, with a user review score currently at 89% with over 950 players having rated so far. It’s a horror visual novel type game which apparently is inspired by Japanese horror films. 12/16/2021 – Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append Another visual novel has made the December list of Switch games, but players seem to really like it. Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append was originally released on PC in 2019. The user score on Steam is currently at a very positive 98% with over 140 reviews. You play as a bookstore employee whose friends start getting killed. December 2021 – Trash Quest Trash Quest is a metroidvania style game with a retro game boy style artstyle. From what we’ve seen, the game seems to be somewhat on the short side, but the few who have left reviews have seemed to enjoy this one.
