The game was originally slated to be released across all major consoles, but it has since been confirmed by the developers that Temtem will now only be launching on Switch (as far as current consoles goes). Support for PS4 and box One has been dropped and instead is going to be released onto the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. Some people aren’t too happy about this as they had already pledged money and were expecting to receive their copies on their respective platforms. The developers have come forward on twitter and clarified a 2021 release date for the Switch version of the game. 2021 is all we can say π— Temtem (@PlayTemtem) August 7, 2020 If you backed the project originally and were hoping for a PS4 or Xbox One version of the game, you will be able to have that transfer over to the PS5 or Xbox Series X for free, you can select to receive the game on a different platform (Nintendo Switch or PC), or you can simply request to have your money refunded entirely. Temtem, the Creature Collecting MMO is Coming to PS5 in 2021! Seek adventure in the lovely Airborne Archipelago alongside your Temtem squad. Catch every Temtem, battle other tamers, customize your character, join a friend’s adventure and explore the dynamic online world. The game looks like it’s coming along nicely. The art style is clean, the battle mechanics look solid, and the online play is a nice additional touch. How exactly this game will stand out and garner a committed following alongside Pokemon remains to be seen, but this does look like it is shaping up to be a good game.
