Stardew Valley Developer Announces New Game “Haunted Chocolatier”

You have definitely heard of Stardew Valley, who hasn’t? Did you know that the game’s developer, ConcernedApe, has just released a trailer showcasing their next game titled Haunted Chocolatier?

Just like in Stardew Valley, Haunted Chocolatier is also a town based game where players move to a new village and have to figure out how to keep things going while adjusting to their new life. You’ll schmooze with the townsfolk, set out to achieve in game goals, and progress your characters in multiple ways. The interesting thing though is that Haunted Chocolatier is rumored to be more of an action RPG, with the game’s chocolate shop being your point of main focus (like the player’s house in Stardew Valley).

The game does not appear to have multiplayer options quite yet, but these were added at a later date to Stardew Valley, so it is likely that we will see them pop up eventually for this Chocolate adventure.

With ConcernedApe stating that the game’s development just barely begun around a year ago, it’s pretty impressive how far the team has already gotten. We’re not sure when the game will release, but the moment we get word, we will be sure to update you, so keep your eyes peeled! Understandably, the team mentioned they don’t want the additional pressure added onto them of declaring a release date/window, so for now it will remain up in the air.
