Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Today THQ Nordic has announced that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be dropping onto the Nintendo Switch on March 16, 2021.

Their official statement mentioned that the game would be coming to the Switch just in time before the brand-new expansion, Fatesworn.

THQ Nordic have always clarified that there will be a physical release for the Switch version as well as being available on the eshop.

If you were one of those holding out hope that the game would see a release on the Switch, then you are in luck! Plenty of fans haven’t played KoA since its original release, so this will be quite a nostalgic trip down memory lane. With the previously mentioned expansion coming later this year, this is pretty big news.

It will be interesting to see how the game’s port job is done and how well it performs on the Nintendo Switch hardware. The game’s port on the PS4 had several minute plus loading time screens, so we will have to wait to see how things go on the Switch.
