This Switch package will contain improved versions of Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas. All games will have updated and modernized controls that players have come to expect from GTA V, graphical improvements (in both resolution and visual fidelity), and much more. Targeting and lock on aiming in the games has been added, weapons and radio station wheels have been improved, and even mini maps have more improved navigation – allowing players to set up waypoints to specific in game locations. On the Nintendo Switch version, gyro aiming is an option along with touch screen zooming, panning, and menu selecting. In terms of graphical improvements, all games have had their lighting systems rebuilt, improving shadows, weather, reflections, characters and vehicles, buildings, weapons, roads, etc. Upgrades in the game’s environments all have also been upgraded, added smoother textures and surfaces and increased draw distances. Grove Street Games is behind the development of GTA: The Trilogy using Unreal Engine. A physical version will launch later on December 7, 2021.
