Crash 4 has been officially announced for the PS4 and Xbox One, but there has been no announcement of a Switch version. In the code for the game’s website, some hidden text was found which references a Switch version of the game. Dentro de la página de Crash Bandicoot 4, se encuentra un pequeño vestigio de Switch. Más en concreto se trata de un script que incluye el elemento "Nintendo Switch". Éste componente es quien nutre el menú de opciones de plataformas. It’s strange thinking that Crash Bandicoot 4 switch version hasn’t been announced considering the other Crash games that we have gotten on the Switch so far. With both the Crash Bandicoot N. San Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled on the console, it seems likely that Crash 4 would make an appearance on the Switch as well. While this is not definitive proof by any means, this does seem like there may be some future plans to bring Crash 4 to the Switch. We’ve seen similar cases to this before. Other game websites have referenced consoles in their source code that never actualized later on in their life cycle. Take all of this with a grain of salt because until we have an official announcement, these are strictly speculations. [Source] Jonathan Zarra Lover of video games, coffee, and cats.
