Nintendo Indie World Showcase Live Stream Announced for August 18, 2020

We’ve got a new Nintendo Direct to tune into folks. Today, Nintendo announced that the next Indie World Showcase would be airing on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 9 AM PT. Viewers who tune in can expect around 20 minutes of information on indie games that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Since this is strictly an Indie Showcase Nintendo Direct event, don’t expect to see any first party Nintendo titles to appear. As with previous indie showcases, there will be various different independent game developers showcased in what Nintendo curates for a Nintendo Direct.

Just because no first party Nintendo titles will be shown doesn’t mean that it won’t be good though. In the past, there have been multiple Nintendo Switch console exclusives shown off in this indie directs which turned out to be gems for the system.

With the last of information coming from Nintendo this past year (especially in the form of Nintendo Directs), it’s nice to see the big N putting an effort into getting release information in front of Switch owners. Last month we got a small direct presentation and now we also will be getting one for the month of August.
