Related Articles Nintendo Direct September 2021 Full Live Stream Video Super Mario Movie Cast and Release Date One of the most notable segments was when Shigeru Miyamoto came on to announce some new info about the upcoming Super Mario movie, slated to come to theaters on December 21, 2022. Chris Pratt will be playing Mario, Charlie Day will be voicing Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy will be Princess Peach, Jack Black will be Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key will be Toad, and Seth Rogan will be Donkey Kong. Quite the cast mix indeed – such a star studded cast makes us think that this video game movie adaptation will be good! N64 and Sega Games Coming to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Nintendo revealed that a new expansion pack is coming to the Nintendo Switch Online service. Both Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games will be arriving in October of 2021 for players who upgrade their accounts to include the expansion pack. Not only will awesome N64 and Sega Genesis games be coming to the Switch, but as expected, they will have online play capabilities just like the NES and SNES games already have. For Nintendo 64 however, up to 4 players can play locally and online simultaneously. In a surprise announcement, a brand new 3D platforming adventure called Kirby and the Forgotten Land was revealed. In the game, Kirby explores a mysterious world full of abandoned structures from a past civilization – seemingly a post apocalyptic type situation. The graphics look great, the gameplay looks fun, and the art style is beautiful. This was a major standout game for us and we are super excited to learn more! Bayonetta 3 Release Date Bayonetta 3 will launch for Nintendo Switch in 2022. A brand new trailer was shown off for Bayonetta 3 for the first time. The trailer showed actual gameplay footage, and lots of it! Based on the trailer, we can surmise that Bayonetta now has the ability to directly control demons. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak DLC Release Date Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be released in summer of 2022. With the insane popularity that is the Monster Hunter franchise, it seems only logical that Capcom would be putting out addition paid DLC for the game. The new Sunbreak expansion DLC will add new stories, monsters, locations, as well as new hunting actions and quest rankings. Splatoon 3 Release Date Splatoon 3 is set to release on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. Splatoon 3 was shown off a bit more through it’s appearance in the direct. The new game will feature 4v4 battles and new weapons along with mammals maybe returning. Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars Release Date Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars will release on Nintendo Switch on October 28, 2021. A brand new Square Enix game was announced called Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars in which players will engage in game experiences that are revealed to them through cards. These will be turn based battles. A cool and unique spin on the class tabletop RPG. Triangle Strategy Release Date Triangle Strategy is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022. After previously putting out a demo for Triangle Strategy, the developers have been hard at work updating the game. They mentioned they have made some adjustments to difficulty, improved visuals and camera control, and the ability to re-view past conversations in the game. Actraiser Renaissance Switch Version Out Now Originally released on the Super Nintendo, Actraiser is making its returning debut to the Nintendo Switch with a full HD remaster. In Actraiser, you alternate between side scrolling and world-building creation. New stages and boss battles have been added to the game as well. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Switch Release Date Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 11, 2021.
