A small update to the Smash Ultimate official website seems to have given fans a clue for a possible DLC reveal coming soon. Every time a new DLC fighter pack is added to the SSBU roster, the official Super Smash Bros Ultimate website will add a new label over the fighters and states on the game’s homepage. With the release of the character Min Min from Arms on June 29, 2020, the new label was shown as normal, but now as of July 13, 2020, that new label is nowhere to be found. Twitter user Shadowedgy was the first to notice this change to the website and subsequently took a screenshot to share with the Smash community. The new tab has mysteriously been removed from the smash website. Keep in mind I believe Byleth’s was their up until Min Min was revealed. Fighter number 7 being revealed soon hmm” At face value this may not seem like something to pay much attention to, but with additional rumors surfacing lately about a potential Nintendo Direct on the horizon, there definitely seems to be more to this than meets the eye. Multiple leaks have surfaced within the Nintendo community from reputable sources claiming that we will see a Nintendo Direct soon. One such leaker has stated that it will be on July 20, 2020. Still five more DLC characters are yet to be revealed as part of Fighters Pass Volume 2. Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what character we will see. One thing is for certain though, we’re just about halfway through the month of July, so there’s not too much time to wait now to see if these rumors are correct.
