HomeNewsPaper Mario: The Origami King Gets Its First Review Released News Paper Mario: The Origami King Gets Its First Review Released It’s official, Paper Mario: The Origami King has now had its first official review published online, thanks to Famitsu, the Japanese website. This review of the Paper Mario game is now released a week before the game is set to be available here in the United States. Famitsu’s ratings are based on four different reviewers giving each game a score out of a possible ten points. Each of the four reviewers rated The Origami King a 9/10, which ultimately left the game with a 36/40 final review score (courtesy of Gematsu). This 36/40 final review score is on part with other previous Paper Mario game review scores. Famitsu gave Color Splash for the Wii U a 35/40 overall score, Sticker Star received a 36/40, and Super Paper Mario on the Nintendo Wii received a 35/40. So it looks like this isn’t exactly too telling of a score in terms of where the title sits regarding a “return to form”. We here at Switcher will be releasing our very own review of the game shortly after it released, so make sure and check back for that. Paper Mario: The Origami King is set to be released here in the United States on the Nintendo Switch on July 17, 2020.
