Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update Version 1.4.2 Now Live

Nintendo has now released the third summer update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch. Just recently, they pushed out an update which removed hacked trees from the game and now today we have received yet another update for ACNH.

What’s In Animal Crossing New Horizons Version 1.4.2?

The following information is included in this Animal Crossing New Horizons update:

• Fixed the issue where “sumo ring” wasn’t displaying correctly
• Fixed the issue where the game shut down after certain conditions were met while in dream mode
• Fixed the issue where glowing soil appeared behind building and other locations
• Fixed the issue where message cards were not arriving in player mailboxes when a player was close friends with an animal resident
• Changed the MTU when playing with others from 1364 to 1240 for investigating issues of players not being able to play with other players

This Animal Crossing: New Horizons update seems relatively anticlimactic in terms of new content, but it does help to resolve some issues that players were previously reporting in the game. Nintendo has continued to update ACNH regularly, both adding new content to the game as well as pushing out patches and bug fixes. Only time will tell what further updates Nintendo will release for the game in the months to come.
