I'm creating this post to help users who might be unsure of how to change their Nintendo Switch friend codes. I figured this thread might server as a useful tool to direct people to who want to know how. Let's begin.
The following information applies to changing your account's friend code for both the Nintendo Switch Lite and the regular Nintendo Switch.
Switch Friend codes are a unique series of numbers that Nintendo gives to user on the Nintendo Switch system. These unique numbers are then linked to Nintendo Accounts and serve as a form of sending and receiving friend requests on the console.
Keep in mind: you may only change your friendcode on the Switch every 30 days. This means, that if you change your friend code today, you will need to wait a minimum of 30 days before you are able to change it again.
How to change your Nintendo Switch friend code
1.) Select the user icon for your Nintendo account from the Switch's home menu.
2.) Next, you will select User Settings, and then you will go ahead and select Friend Settings.
3.) Finally, the last step is selecting the option Reissue Friend Code.
