True, I think there’s a good chance minor things still get added in the near future. But overall hopefully with the update it’ll feel as complete as they’re presenting it to be

Yes it’s very niche for sure, it was surprising to see it become as mainstream as it did despite this. In ways it might have reverted back to being for a niche audience and was expanded

I think the same cycle will happen. More people will pick it up again for a few months and people will get burn out as they did before. Maybe the dlc will change this, but who knows. Maybe enough people will buy into it for the game to sustainably have players online at large numbers like last year

I wouldn't say niche as such, I think it started our niche. I have it on Gamecube and people looked at me odd as to what I was playing! But at university all the girls at camp were hooked on farmville on Facebook and Animal Crossing on their DS's. I just meant its a tricky game to get gamers into over more casual people.

Interesting, I’d say up until New Leaf it was niche and new horizons made it into a nintendo staple were people who don’t game could recognize animal crossings and some of its characters. I agree with it being tricky for casual players to get into currently.

Just because it’s not as popular as other Nintendo franchises doesn’t mean it is niche.
