I'm still new to it, haven't really been able to play switch since I got it honestly
I know the general idea of gameplay, play world on ps4 and I've been on maybe 5 hunts on switch
its definitely worth it if you like playing with friends and if you like a challenge with certain quests
its a action games with multiplayer elements, the story isnt what people play the game for if story is important to you, but you'll have a good time as long as you use and fight the way you want
Id say its worth it definitely one of the easier ones to get into and alot more fluid then the previous generations
Havent got too into the hub quest yet been mainly doing the village ones im prob be on monday/tues if anyone wants to hunt then
If you’re more into anime I haven’t played it but there is god eater3, mh rise is still being added to so you wouldn’t have to hard a time finding the lower tier quest. The good thing about rise is the online is pretty consistent
God eater i feel is faster paced but def not as popular but they both fun i prefer rise tho personally

And yeah discords the best for switch since Nintendo doesn’t really have a good way to message or talk to people on switch like all the other systems do
I regularly play Monste Hunter Rise almost every day so i tend to be on it, that includes other games
