Welcome Tennos! This will be our chat from now on to everything related to Warframe. I'll be playing the game from the Day-1 with (hopefully) a migrated account, so feel free to ask anything about the game.

Hello Tennos! I will be playing this game from anywhere between Day 1 and Day 100, and if you see an edgy samurai archer ninja running around with jazzhands, chances are it might be me. AMA only on jazzhands, game I'm clueless on.

If you are willing to become an edgy samurai, pick Excalibur as starter frame. Has a focus on melee skills and is more tanky than the others (volt being sort of a mage and mag being a crowd control specialist)

If I migrate an account from pc do I lose my stuff on pc?

I've heard conflicting stories about this

Not from what I heard, you just copy your progress to switch and then it's individual for each platform

Nope, it's not properly a migration. Basically they are going to clone your stuff (except the platinum and probably the newest stuff that isn't released in console yet), so once you do the "migration" you'll have 2 accounts, one on pc and one on switch with the same stuff

your first things to do are unlocking the junctions, you will see the requisites for each one if you pass the cursor over them. Unlocking the junctions is also the main way of unlocking the new quests (some are unlocked in other ways). On top of that, with your first 50 plats I recommend you you to buy 2 frame slots and if you get to sell some mod to other player to get 2 more plat to buy a couple weapon slots.

It's also to know that with your first plats (the ones the game gives you) you can't trade with other players, you will need to buy it in order to trade it.

Also, as soon as you can, buy the cipher blueprint from the market, it's cheap both to buy and to craft it later and they are gear that instantly solve any hacking puzzle. Get with you always a few, in spy missions will save your life

The junction just opens a path to other planets
