Repetitive but fun if you’re into the gameplay

So far iirc you’ll see short range spread, long range straight and mid range (yet weak) seeking shots

Last I remember using a spread that was about mid range that worked p well for me

Also weight of weapons and other gear is factored into gameplay too

So your character could be light medium and or heavy maneuvering. V much like a Dark Souls

I think between the poor matchmaking system and not completely fair combat may have deterred it from being a success. Also it looks like Metal Slug but is almost nothing like it

We can try it one of these days. You have to make new weapons as you progress through the game but you’re completely free to make the different parts of the weapon to mix and match and I could see that also putting off ppl too

Like the game doesn’t explain anything v much like Monster Hunter before World and Rise

Just gotta figure sh** out or if the game had a strong community then ppl could tell each other

Like the gameplay is fun for me but part of the fun of Monster Hunter is seeing how other ppl play well which often gives you ideas on how you can better your personal gameplay

But with the wonky matchmaking, the community aspect was hindered tremendously

But maybe we can make lemonade from this lemon of a game and make it fun again

I’ve decided I will start a new character. And with button mapping on a system level being a thing that wasn’t there when the game released, I’ve put together a control scheme similar to Enter the Gungeon for Mercenary Kings. I’ll DM you my custom control setup for this game when I’m available later today

Also I tested the online with friends using my two switches. It works p straight forward with lobbies basically once you’ve added the person on your FL
