Hmmm... Never heard of that bug in paladins, and we have a community (my telegram group) who plays it regularly. Some occasional bug, but the game itself is holding well and the community is big enough to find games fast.
Fortnite IDK honestly, because I don't play it, but my sister does and she says she has a lot of switch friends playing it
tons of people are playing Fortnite on the switch. Ill try paladins again
AoV however... well, it's dying and by its own hand
Seems so
But yeah, Paladins is pretty big as game, and since we have crossplay with Xbox, there's always people (although the xbox people I usually find in a game is around 1:5)
Yup it has the backing of other consoles and crossplay
meanwhile arena of valor is on mobile and switch and thats it
And the patches to paladins are coming to switch at the same time than xbox (and almost simultaneously with ps4) so it means they are still supporting it. They are even adding gyro controls in the 1.8 patch next week
Indeed, but if you take a look at the mobile version, you will see a totally different game
the switch version just seems like the alpha of the mobile version
So support means a game will thrive. how long was AoV was updated besides the latest one?
this is the first "update" that the game had since launch. There were a couple more iirc, but they added nothing at all. Just tried to resolve the bugs (which more or less did) but nothing as to balance the game
Ah yea that spells disaster.
and it wasn't even a general balance patch. It was just a nerf for the two most obviously op chars in the game
Thats not the best way to handle balancing in a game anyways.
well, if you ask anyone, they'll tell you those nerfs were needed. But aside the nerfs, the rest of the game should also be balanced
Yea just did the tutorial and i would rather play Dota.
Weird that people say AoV is dying
I've literally never logged on and waited more than a minute for a game
