I like it for Mario Kart. And Mario Party was fun with it.

I also play Splatoon and its good for the stats etc.

The thing is it kicks you out of the Nintendo voice app when you disconnect from online room

At least discord you can be in vc even without being in lobby

Yeah its all linked. The switch knows you have it and the app knows your in a online game.
