ultimate currently doesnt support the screenshot video option
(the one where you hold and it saves last 30 seconds)
in an update hopefully in the near future, it will be compatible
Smash replays aren't stored in video format they're stored as data that can be ran by the game engine to produce the video output that's why replays break on game updates
So to get it recorded you need to use a capture card with the replay sometime before the next engine update
apparently there's an option to export it as a video though
Right, I know it doesn't support the switch 30 sec capture. Right now you can save a replay then go and select 'convert to video'. So I have an actual video, not just a replay, but the only way for me to access this video is within smash.
It is accessable on the sd card but it's in a weird location
in the directory Nintendo/Album/Extra
