because TOs want limited lists
to make things easy on them
but its better to have variety, makes it harder for certain players who choose not to practice
or adapt
It's understandable that TOs want a stage list that is not too big
But from a viewer's point of view, Smash 4 had too few stages which were viable competitively
We still don't know how "Hazards off" will affect all stages, but there's potential for 10-20 of them on this game
There’s so much we won’t know about the game until it’s out
I’m going to a midnight launch party and I kinda want to relish in the sheer madness and chaos while it’s fresh
look out guys
abort me
@Solid But an issue is that some stages actually become worse with hazards off
Mainly Yoshi's Story, Yoshi's Island, Smashville, & Town & City
Honestly there should be 2 sets of competitive stage lists that players can choose from before the actual striking process begins
1 for hazards on, & another for hazards off
Woah, then we're not talking about the same. Hazards off is not the same as Omega variants of stages
If anyone has 30 minutes to dump into discussion of competitive viability of stages, you can watch this
