you definitely have to play a little differently against him

if you just dont let him mine he starts really struggling
and his movement options arent the best if you dont take his specials into consideration
His minecart seems to be a little hard to punish for me
But a lot of characters outrange him
Unless they know how to place dirt blocks

Name a character that wouldn't allow him to mine at one point. Sure, it's the weak point, but it's realistically impossible for Minecraft to not be able to mine at some points.
Like Mii Brawler or DK have to engage them all the time

@olivergittings argument? I'm just saying that whilst playing against him or with him if the opponent does yet him mine and literally smothers him he doesn't have time to mine. Meaning he can't do his cart etc.

My final verdict on... "this" is that it's impossible to never let him mine. Never let him get diamonds? Possibly. But they're always gonna get a chance to mine. In fact, you can mine blocks while in the air, further letting them mine
Little late, considering all the controversy around it back in July. At least he's come up with something to fight back.
