i know that sometimes my bair gets beaten by some things
i can never manage to throw a nair sometimes
and too many times i'm facing the wrong direction
are you using the right stick/C-stick?
not for short hop buffered aerials
well, i'm gonna turn Smash on and mess with Falcon for a minute, see if i can figure out a solution
i feel that you are probably turning (or not) around before jumping so you're facing the wrong way
occasionally. sometimes i turn on purpose to throw out short hop back air
might be the controller though. i use a pro controller
i play on pro, i think it's just as good

maybe a change in control scheme could help, unless you've done that too
i've got my control scheme how i want it, i think
athough i may bind L to jump
that's what i did with one of my tags
helps a lot
on the pro controller i prefer B for attacks and Y for special, A/X to jump
that way i can just use my thumb to press attack/jump at the same time
