I'm just doing A-rank games and getting paired with people who afk at the start or thinks splatzones is a mode where you hang back chucking a bomb here and there

haha yea, once you had the platform in the middle it was almost pointless, there was so many teammates just rushing there side that they had no chance of pushing, only thing happening was holding the line

BTW, for clam blitz specifically, is there a specific recommended role setup for league play? I know u seem to be bout inkbrush nov & others about ranged weapons, but I really don't wanna even buy a brush until last & I have serious issues when trying splatlings (even in Salmon Run)

theres no perfect way to play any part of the game really, i always say see what suits you best, i like dapple dualies, kensa slosher, kensa dynamo, splat roller, custom jet squelcher (non-dualie)

splattershot jr is fun too, so for clams ill use weapons that can ink good, for movement

dapple dualies, custom squelch dualies (i use em once in a while), kensa slosh, splat roller work best for me in just about any game mode

dynamo kensa roller works for me in splat zones and tower, sometimes rain (its not bad but not amazing either in this mode) and custom jet is for rain/tower/zones

but again these are just my preferences, some people might think they’re absolutely trashy, or might not consider em because they see better things in the “meta”

sometimes i need mobility, sometimes i just wanna piss people off

i can run custom jet squelch in clam blitz, but i wouldnt really be on offense as much, i would have to play supportive

just poking opponents to keep em away from clams and base, then using stingray to take out enemies when we get superclams

the game works on how well you can support your team, if you can rack up splats, do it, if you can get specials and use em correctly, do it, if you push the objective and actually contribute to the score do it

you can try all the weapons i listed, im still climbing rn, i think im on like +5 so its extra grindy rn plus i have diff games im juggling

oh and make sure to play salmon run, theres people here around like 12pm pst -6pm pst normally, who can play a couple of games
