Because my Inkling spit has more range than the aero, and it has less spray RNG. Plus, none of the kits are good. I guess the gold aero is a bit better, but still, the main weapon is that bad that not even a good kit could save it

Yeah, the aero and the sploosh are the better representatives of shot rng in the game
If you test them in the shooting range, you can see how they don't shoot straight, but like a cloud of ink bullets everywhere
That is not bad for turfing, and all of them will hit if you shoot them at point blank range at the enemy
But take a look at the X rank of the tier list, and you'll see 4 long range weapons, 3 hypermobile weapons, 1 support weapon, and 1 short-mid range weapon
Aero is none of that

As I said, all are subjective opinions
But the weapons that are in X and "Literally woomy yourself squid" tier are pretty much generally agreed upon by all the community
Maybe tetras and ttek could be in S+
