Hello, and so far I haven’t played much of stardew valley for very long (probably have 1 or 2 hrs of playtime) but I’m gonna change that in the near future

like getting to the beach and back will take up a good amount of time

or save up so you can buy a horse to get around faster .
you'll need to upgrade to a copper axe in order to get hardwood

Yeah once you get a horse it’s a lot easier to get around

you press Y and keep the fish in that green rectangle

when you hold down "Y" it goes up faster so try tapping to keep it steady. when you let it go, the rectangle falls downward

you have to press Y - sometimes you catch something and sometimes there's nothing there

it will say "hit" if you've caught a fish and that's when you start reeling

fishing will get you a good amount of money too, when you sell them
