I play pokemon go aswell. Tbh the pokeball makes the game very easy. i was on the fence when they brought that little wristband thing so i figured id wait for the next pokemon game see if they made something better and they did.

pokemon like graveler are supposed to be harder to catch. At least in go, excellent curveballs, and type medals increase your capture chance

I want to say after you catch a certain # of a Pokemon that they're easier to catch
Only point of catch comboing seems to be Chansey for exp or late game when you can catch combo something easy and then fly around looking for a shiny

Not at all. Where past games had the breeding mechanic you catching 1 of each gender and naming them would be much more useful
