cant wait to accidently launch my joy con at the screen while trying to catch something

that's gonna be a thing again after the good ol' wiimote (aka destroyer of flat tv's) times

a bigger concern is going to be the amount of switch tossed when trying to catch a pokemon while playing in handheld...

i remember them saying something in the lines of having handheld but no motion

nope you still need to use motion to aim just press a button to throw the ball if i remember correctly

"In handheld mode with both Joy-Con attached - you are still required to move around to aim, but you press a button to throw the Pokéball."

oh, so it is going to be a switch tossing festival in the end! noooice

Just throw your switch directly at your tv instead of just the joycon

Just got Mario Party and I agree that it's very annoying not to have handheld

But yeah, they heavily nerfed the starters. Useless until you're near endgame, or until you get the TMs of their respective type. Mine was stuck with Ember until I got the Flamethrower TM, with the only other fire option as Fire Spin
