cant wait to accidently launch my joy con at the screen while trying to catch something

that's gonna be a thing again after the good ol' wiimote (aka destroyer of flat tv's) times

a bigger concern is going to be the amount of switch tossed when trying to catch a pokemon while playing in handheld...

i remember them saying something in the lines of having handheld but no motion

nope you still need to use motion to aim just press a button to throw the ball if i remember correctly

"In handheld mode with both Joy-Con attached - you are still required to move around to aim, but you press a button to throw the Pokéball."

oh, so it is going to be a switch tossing festival in the end! noooice

Just throw your switch directly at your tv instead of just the joycon

Just got Mario Party and I agree that it's very annoying not to have handheld

I used them all up already, and I have no idea where to get more. But if you can't just buy them, and you have to catch/release pokemon, then god damn, I hate these capture mechanics (for legendaries)

I mean, the banana berry only last for one throw

So you have to use one EVERY single time.

You get them by using the pineapple berry and getting high capture combos

Blughhh, why can't I just buy my way to victory? At this rate, I'm gonna run out of the 300+ pokeballs I've amassed before I even get to Mewtwo

Say what you will about the normal games, but their capture mechanics were simple at least. Dusk Ball alone is twice as good as anything you can feasibly get in this game, in addition to the weakness and status bonus...

But having seen what happens if you master ball him, id say it shouldnt matter if you miss

Hmmm... well considering the first pokeball you throw at the starter is an auto-target, regardless of how you throw it, maybe master ball works the same way
