cant wait to accidently launch my joy con at the screen while trying to catch something

that's gonna be a thing again after the good ol' wiimote (aka destroyer of flat tv's) times

a bigger concern is going to be the amount of switch tossed when trying to catch a pokemon while playing in handheld...

i remember them saying something in the lines of having handheld but no motion

nope you still need to use motion to aim just press a button to throw the ball if i remember correctly

"In handheld mode with both Joy-Con attached - you are still required to move around to aim, but you press a button to throw the Pokéball."

oh, so it is going to be a switch tossing festival in the end! noooice

Just throw your switch directly at your tv instead of just the joycon

They made the models better, without making the console better, was SuMo's problem 😛

Like they were forced to do something to make the game look "prettier" than the previous gen, to justify it being an entirely new gen, at the expense of performance (and double/triple/rotation battles)

it always pissed me off when i heard about ultra sumo, made me realize i bought the incomplete version

I didn't notice any difference between the SuMo games; they were all pretty poor performance to me. I would imagine it's something to do with what they actually upgraded between New and old 3DS. If it's just the processor, then they can do more calculations (better for emulation and such), but it won't actually do much to improve graphical performance

I hated slogging through Ultra; it's almost the exact same story beats, with minor differences, until the very endgame and postgame. But if I paid 40 just to see Rainbow Rocket and the evil leaders again... it was worth (to me)

Some people liked the story (and character growth/motivations) of the originals better than ultra, but for me... the differences were too minor to care
