cant wait to accidently launch my joy con at the screen while trying to catch something

that's gonna be a thing again after the good ol' wiimote (aka destroyer of flat tv's) times

a bigger concern is going to be the amount of switch tossed when trying to catch a pokemon while playing in handheld...

i remember them saying something in the lines of having handheld but no motion

nope you still need to use motion to aim just press a button to throw the ball if i remember correctly

"In handheld mode with both Joy-Con attached - you are still required to move around to aim, but you press a button to throw the Pokéball."

oh, so it is going to be a switch tossing festival in the end! noooice

Just throw your switch directly at your tv instead of just the joycon

Just got Mario Party and I agree that it's very annoying not to have handheld

Holy crap, those legendary pokemon are hard to catch. Zapdos at least... burned like 40 ultra balls, and at least 50 pokeballs to catch it... I've never missed Dusk Balls so much. And also the normal battling way to catch pokemon

Whenever I find a hard Pokemon I just use a second remote

I mean if you prefer spamming sleep abilities while keeping them at low hp while keeping your pokes alive while still spamming ultra balls then thats great

i haven't gotten to the point yet, but i've caught Articuno in a Pokeball within like three throws in Leaf Green after getting it to red

In the normal games, literally all you have to do is wait until evening, Thunder Wave, False Swipe to 1HP, and start chucking Dusk Balls. Legendaries usually go down in under 20 by that point.

As opposed to constantly having to aim at a moving target, with nothing better than an ultra ball, losing hundreds of balls in the process. Hell, out of those 40 ultra balls I threw at Zapdos, I think maybe 15 or 20 actually landed, and out of those, only maybe 10 or less were Nice or Great
