cant wait to accidently launch my joy con at the screen while trying to catch something

that's gonna be a thing again after the good ol' wiimote (aka destroyer of flat tv's) times

a bigger concern is going to be the amount of switch tossed when trying to catch a pokemon while playing in handheld...

i remember them saying something in the lines of having handheld but no motion

nope you still need to use motion to aim just press a button to throw the ball if i remember correctly

"In handheld mode with both Joy-Con attached - you are still required to move around to aim, but you press a button to throw the Pokéball."

Just throw your switch directly at your tv instead of just the joycon

Yea might have to pick it up as charging the pokeball is through a usb-c connector. Luckily I have two of the official power bricks but it would be nice to have something like that.

They'll add pro controller support as soon as the pokeball stops selling, you can already play it handheld with both joycons and without motion controls for catching

And what those hating on the reviews dont understand is that games are reviewed based on their appeal to their respective targeted audience, and this looks like a great kid/newcomer game which is exactly what its supposed to be

The pro control part is just common sense. Clearly the functionality is already in to not use motion or even a single joycon. The only logical reason why prontroller isnt supported is so people will say fuck single joycon and go buy the pokeball. Once that stops being a big profit, they'll let us use the pro

Somewhat tempted to get the PokeBall because of its dual functionality with Go. I've started walking again - which, yay, health, but also oh-no, cause now I nap a ton.
