Okay I’m sorry in advance for this being so long but idk what else to do but giving full context, to find what I’m missing if so. Btw this is first souls like game I’ve played so a lot of new variables I’m 100 aware of yet. But to anyone willing to read this and can help..
So Every walkthrough video for the switch version of remnant are done completely backwards and have different looking environments. but my issue is Fairview. first level..yeah I know.
So after spawning at the hideaway, checkpoint and make way into Fairview, From characters perspective came out to street straight, turned left at the locked gate by subway entrance . continued straight and turned right to the quick dead end, the first sewer that had the crazy guy. That sewer didn’t lead any where, so back up and out to streets and buildings.
Then traveled all the way down the other direction til where the enemy with the one big sword is initially pacing ( gorefist? Idk names) went right at wood fort structure and straight to the next sewer hidden sanctum. I Cleared looted smashed explored killed every thing possible on initial Fairview
Here where I can’t progress, even being on normal difficultly. No matter the upgrades/weopons i have, the pace I move or what, it’s always been the same flow of hoards of meatballs and the combination of bigger enemies( one has 2 swords, one with machine gun, or the archer)
At the first right turn is about when first bigger enemy coming and sound chimes. Frm then on evey 10 to 20 steps in forward direction, two waves of around 10 meatballs and big one big guy comes. Manageable up til i reach a smaller rm that gets crowded almost entirely and immediately l, along with usually the machine gun enemy. Can’t run thru or passed, cant use consumables. completely demobilized and dead with in sec.
I did destroy the totums and got an objective complete, but haven’t made it to dead end or exit.
What am I doin wrong? Is continuing thru sanctum the wrong way? Not a single walkthrough video where there is anywhere near what im experiencing../ pleeeeeeeeeeease anyone that has any knowledge or can confirm l/question such extreme difficulty in first level? Thank you for reading thru!
