so what are the differences between adventure and story?
and why people just blaze through story?
Adventure awards you way more exp and gold
The story is really just a small portion of the game. The primary "play loop" is events called rifts and bounties where you grind for gear.... and all this occurs in "adventure" mode.
so basically one just play the story with the first char they like, see all the cutscenes and restart the game in adventure? or do they keep their character from story?
Basically the same same time spent in adventure as story will usually result in more exp, at least in my experience on PC
You can keep yur character
keep character... but yes, generally you only need to do the story one time
You can actually switch between the two modes whenever
well you don't NEED to do it at all
you can buy it and just jump into adventure mode
It used to be you had to finish the story before you unlocked adventure mode, but they changed that
but... the adventure mode has the story of the game? It would be my first time with diablo III, that's why i'm asking
