Just ordered the game, never played it before. Anyone got any tips or should I just play it blind

@Joe_Midd Advice? Start up a NON-Hardcore character and play on Expert Difficulty. You'll be able to actually learn about the game that way instead of melting your way through on the easier modes.

Also, the Ganon costume is an end-game luxury. It's 50k gold per equipment piece to transmogrify.

However, you do get instant access to the Hyrule Portrait and Cucco pet via + and the bag icon

I have a monk I need to start grinding with but got the HC itch and have been playing there. Just lost my last one so if you want someone to play with we can team up. I normally play in the evenings starting 8-9 EST
