Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit are both Switch games, yes. Not sure why that's disputable.

Nintendo regards Mario Kart Live and Mario Kart Tour as Mario Kart titles.
But Mario Kart Live is actually Mario Kart 10 😛

i do think another Mario Kart will happen but people are right, it sells so damn well now that its probably not worth splintering the sales. Ride it until people stop buying!
