However, Nintendo EPD(mario kart team) did not release any new game since arms in 2017

So MK8 sold 28 million copies so far IIRC and it'll just continue to sell

I’d be shocked to see any other game comes from them before MK9

That's several times the amount of the Wii U version, so the majority of consumers are new

Its true that there hasn’t been 2 mario kart on one system, but the switch era is different

If we go how Wikipedia considers it, then both MK8D and MK Live: Home Circut are both Switch games.

It's less of a game and more of a toy

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit are both Switch games, yes. Not sure why that's disputable.

Having Mario Kart Live myself, I can confirm it is, indeed, a video game.
